Many college-bound students restrict their college search to their home state’s borders. But did you know that Youngstown State University is only an hour and a half from both Pittsburgh and Erie? We are far enough away to provide an away-from-home college experience but close enough that you go home easily when you want to check in with the family.

I encourage you to visit our campus and meet with me and the Penguin Icebreakers (PIs). I’m from Sharon, Pennsylvania, and many of the PIs are also from PA. You’ll be able to talk with us about our experience in “crossing the line.”
